Come now, Derek. Possibly, certainly; propably, maybe; but undoubtedly?
After all, space is big and filled with lots of junk. To say that Gramps
(or even the Kids) has been to _every_ hunk of dirt in and beyond Charted
Space seems a bit excessive. Besides, he wouldn't've found anything on
Cymbeline until after that Solomani spaceprobe crashed there (how many
years ago? 3000 or so, wasn't it). Now, there's evidence that he visited
our universe at least once within the last couple of thousand years (the
coyn showing an aslan), but there's no reason why he should have visited
Cymbeline at the same time (on that occasion he visited all or most of
the droyne worlds to distribute the new coyns). If Grandfather only
visits us every once in a while he may not even know about the Collapse
yet.

Since they were made 300,000 years ago that's not very likely.

IT>>> Good morning!
IT>>> Does anyone know where I can find maps of subsectors I, J, and K of
IT>>> the Diaspora Sector? My players are planning a voyage to the Spinward
IT>>> edge of Diaspora, and I need to have some idea of where the trip will
IT>>> take them.

<snip>

IT>As a matter of fact Diaspora's systems (and thousands of others) can be
IT>found on a couple of FTP sites. I downloaded about thirty sectors worth
fro

Planet III Software has produced wonderful atlases for both
Diaspora and Old Expanses. The planetary descriptions are all
hyper-text linked, in case you forget in the middle of a run what law
level 3 means. Also included are printouts of just about every ship
described in the books (through World Builder's).
The best feature is a travel computer.. nedd to know how long it
takes to go from Earth's surface to Jupiter orbit at 2G accl using 45
g-turns of fuel? Answer: microjump, it's faster.
Coming soon: A program that runs the Trade transactions for you.
A bleesing for me, as I run merchant campaigns.
